I idea this became a extraordinary product for the price. The filter was now not as displayed, but a more correct picture of it can be stumbled on any number of areas online, including the k&n Filter website. the filter works exactly as advertised and fit remarkable in the fender well of my 1999 impreza for a custom cold-air intake. As with all the other k&n filters i’ve installed on cars and motorcycles, this has helped the bike breathe a bit better. i’m shocked the intake noise did not enhance practically as much as my triumph speed triple did with a k&n, but the desmo valves of the 1098 are noisy even in stock form. I failed to note a huge difference power-wise (no dyno runs to compare), but paired up with a better map via tuneboy and the bike looks to run a bit better. taking the fairing off and doing away with the intake tubes were a pain, but otherwise the installation became fairly easy. I suppose setting up an air filter on the ducati streetfighter would be a lot faster.
